A lady, Adewodun Adenike , who opened up about sleeping with her dogs on ‘Talk to B’ show, has confessed that she faked her own death after news went viral that she was dead.

In a statement on her Instagram handle, the host of the show where she was interviewed, Dr Abiola Adebayo, said that findings revealed that Adenike confessed to faking her own death after several findings.

The statement read, “Our attention has been drawn to various reactions that have trailed the death of our guest on Talk to B’, Miss Adenike; quite expectedly, but these are the facts.

“The case of Miss Adenike, while tragic, is a learning curve for us. She sent a message and was asked to come and we offered to get her therapy and all but she freaked out and in a very devilish and ungodly manner faked her own death.

Dr Adebaya said after the fake death news, efforts were made to locate Adenike’s house to properly express deep condolences.

She continued, “In the course of properly mourning her, we noticed some discrepancies in what her so-called ‘sister’ was telling us and what her friend was saying and because we felt something was amiss.

“We dispatched the Director of the show on a fact finding mission who spoke with the friend before he traced the hospital where she was supposed to have been treated and we were told there and then that she didn’t die.

“After this discovery, a petition was written by our attorney to the police to complain about the situation, and promptly, the Police investigated and arrested both Nike and her friend.”

By Mario Deepromoter

Hoodlums have abducted 66-year-old Mrs. Elizabeth Uruakpa, an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at Babcock University Teaching Hospital in Ilisan Remo, Ogun State, on Thursday evening.

Uruakpa was reportedly returning from an evening church service when the attackers ambushed her at the entrance of her home, located near the new Ilisan market.

The incident, which occurred around 7 pm, caused panic in the neighborhood, prompting residents and business owners to quickly shut their doors in fear.

According to a local resident who spoke to The Punch on the condition of anonymity, the gunmen forcibly removed Uruakpa from her vehicle and whisked her away in a red Toyota car.

“The woman was coming back from the church in the evening around 7 pm when the gunmen abducted her. I know her very well, she’s a senior nursing staff with Babcock University Teaching Hospital and a member of the Winners’ Chapel.

They dragged her down from her vehicle, put her in their red Toyota car and sped away. It was really like thunder lightning, and such a thing had never happened before in our neighbourhood. It is so strange and scary,” the resident said.

Babcock University’s Director of Communication and Marketing, Dr. Joshua Suleiman, confirmed the abduction, noting that the university is actively seeking more information.

“I heard about it last night. It is on one of the university’s platforms but I don’t have a comprehensive report about it. Someone is already working on getting more information about this and as soon as it is ready, I will get across to you,” Suleiman said.
