Call for Wike’s sack: Administration is no child’s play, CRP tells Adeyanju, VDM
…insists Wike is not a law breaker, rather he adheres to the rule of law
A grassroot based movement, Concerned Rivers People, CRP has reacted over call for the removal of hardworking FCT minister , Nyesom Wike declaring that Deji Adeyanju and Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Very Dark Man should know that administration is not a child’s Play.
The group made this disclosure in a statement signed by its Director of Communication, Robinson Uke on Saturday declaring that:
“Our attention has been drawn to a very misleading viral video clip where VDM and Adeyanju called for the removal of our son and leader, Barrister Nyesom Wike from office.
“Ordinarily we ought to have ignored this misleading development but for the sake of history we will like to put the records straight.
” Administration is not comedy or the act of writing unfounded stories in the name of activism because before any action is taken due diligence must have been adequately carried out by government.
Uke further explained that: ” Before the demolition exercise enough time was given to the residents to vacate the said area but they never yielded.
“Did Adeyanju and VDM bother to interrogate deeply into the matter whether the area in any way obstructed the master plan of the Federal Capital Territory?
“Why’s Abuja called a territory administered by a minister, it’s because it’s the seat of power and the mirror of Nigeria.
“Wike has not broken any known law in Nigeria if by any way the area is part of the master plan and illegal occupants are found in the area.
“Did these two gentlemen probe beyond the publicity the video generated giving a wrong impression that the area will be allocated to estate developers.
“Government is all about authoritative allocation of scarce resources, today Wike is the custodian of FCT and by extension the number one citizen of the Territory.
“He believes in due process and will never go against established norms while carrying out his administrative duties because he strictly adheres to the law.
“From all indications the clip was primarily designed to cause disaffection between the president and the FCT minister but this move is dead on arrival.
“We candidly advise these young men to adopt another approach in carrying out their activism not this garbage in and garbage out approach.
“It smirks of an ulterior motive that was property cooked and dished to be consumed by those who don’t understand how administration is carried out.
