We’ve Recovered N78m From N180m Stolen NGO Money – Verydarkman Gives Update (Video)
Controversial social critic, Verydarkman has disclosed that N78 million out of the N180 million allegedly stolen from his NGO account has been recovered.
The revelation comes days after he took to Instagram on Friday to raise an alarm about the hacking of his organization’s account, claiming N180 million was missing.
However, his statement sparked skepticism, with many questioning the credibility of his claims.
Providing an update on the recovery process via Instagram on Sunday, Verydarkman expressed gratitude and shared the next steps in the investigation.
“Thanks to the people who called to check up on me. I also want to thank God for the process so far: we have been able to recover N78m, even though the suspect pointed out that the person he did with has run to Ghana, so hopefully, we would be going to Ghana very soon,” he said.

Tems wins Best African Music Performance at 2025 Grammy Awards
Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has won the Best African Music Performance category at the 67th Grammy Awards.
She secured the award with her song Love Me JeJe, beating Tomorrow by Yemi Alade, MMS by Asake featuring Wizkid, Sensational by Chris Brown featuring Davido and Lojay, and Higher by Burna Boy.
This marks Tems’ second Grammy win.
South Africa’s Tyla won the award for her hit Water in 2024 in the category’s first edition.
Tems received three nominations at this year’s Grammys, bringing her career total to eight. She was also nominated for Best Global Music Album (Born in the Wild) and Best R&B Song (Burning).
The 67th Grammy Awards took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Afrobeats singer Yemi Alade has excitedly unveiled her Grammy nominees Medal on social media.
The medal was presented to her at the Special Merit Awards Ceremony and Nominees Reception, ahead of the 67th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California.
Overwhelmed with excitement, Yemi Alade shared her gratitude and surprise at being nominated, saying it felt like a dream.
Her fans and fellow celebrities have flooded her with congratulatory messages, praising her achievement and proud representation of Nigerian music globally.
“Somebody Pinch me. I have received my Grammy Nominee Medal at the Special Merit Awards Ceremony, and Nominees Reception for the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles, California,” Yemi Alade wrote.

Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth has finally responded to those asking him to comment on 2Face and Annie’s marital drama.
Singer 2Face on Sunday evening, announced his separation from wife, Annie.
A development which has continued to generate intense reactions on social media, especially among celebrities.
However, speaking in a viral video on his Instagram page on Saturday, Basketmouth claimed he did not want to get involved in the conversation.
Addressing those questioning his silence over the issue, Basketmouth who had previously faced public scrutiny during his divorce in 2022, said he doesn’t want to be dragged.
“I have been receiving lots of emails and DMs from people asking me why I don’t want to get involved in Tuface and Annie’s matters? I have known 2Face for 27 years and I met Annie 24 years ago.

“This new year 2025, wey we just enter, I’m just trying to have undraggable year. Please, don’t push me.”
