Annie Idibia reportedly makes a sudden rehab exit

By Francesca Hangeior
After 2Baba’s shocking split from Annie and his swift marriage proposal to Natasha Osawaru, the actress has kept an uncharacteristically low profile while her estranged husband openly celebrates his new love.
Rumors of rehab and addiction ran wild, but now, new reports suggest Annie is out, not broken, not retreating, but emerging with a bold and undeniable purpose.
Nigerian actress Annie Idibia has reportedly walked out of the rehabilitation center where she sought refuge after the devastating collapse of her marriage to music legend 2Baba.
For weeks, Annie has remained silent, offering no public response as the world dissects her shattered marriage to 2Baba. Reports claim Annie checked into a rehabilitation center, seeking recovery from drug addiction following her marriage crash.
According to Goldmyne TV, insiders reveal she has spent her time in deep self-examination, revisited the wounds
that led her there in the first place.
“She was meant to stay longer, but for reasons we are yet to fully understand, she decided to leave,
“What’s clear is that she is not giving up on herself. She still wants to heal and rebuild her life.”
While some believe she left before her healing was complete, sources insist this is not an escape but a shift, a deliberate decision to reclaim herself outside the walls of recovery.
“She’s taking things one step at a time. There’s a lot she has been through, and leaving rehab doesn’t mean she’s done with her healing process. It just means she’s choosing a different path.” another insider shared.

Asake’s Dad Awaits House Promise, Alleged Baby Mama Accuses Singer of Responsibility Neglect

Nigerian music sensation Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake, is under heavy hammer over allegations from his father, Fatai Odunsi, and a woman identified as Adijat, who claims to be his former partner.
While Odunsi alleges that Asake promised to buy him a house, Adijat accuses the singer of neglecting their supposed 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.
In a recent interview, Fatai Odunsi expressed his expectation that Asake would fulfill his promise of securing a house for him.
Odunsi, who is reportedly battling health issues, including a stroke, stated, “Asake is ready to buy me a house.” His family members are reportedly urging Asake to assist with his father’s medical needs and honor his commitment to providing accommodation.
Simultaneously, Adijat has made allegations that Asake has been absent from their daughter’s life. According to her, she financially supported the singer during his struggling years, sending him money from her thrift savings while he was still in school.
She also mentioned that Odunsi was supportive of her efforts at the time, often encouraging her to seek help whenever necessary.
However, Adijat claims that after Asake completed his education and moved to Lekki, he cut off communication. She alleges he ignored her calls and even suggested she was free to marry someone else since he was too focused on his career.
“He sent me messages saying he would block me. He told me I was free to marry someone else, as he had no time for a relationship,” Adijat recounted.
These revelations have sparked conversations online, with fans and critics expressing shock and disappointment. Many have called on Asake to address the allegations publicly, particularly regarding his alleged negligence towards his daughter and the promise made to his father.
As of now, Asake has not made any public statement concerning the allegations. The controversy continues to stir discussions about the responsibilities of celebrities towards their families and the potential strain fame can place on personal relationships.

Asake reconciles with father

By Francesca Hangeior
Afrobeats sensation Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has made amends with his ailing father, Fatai Odunsi, and promised to purchase a house for him and as well cover his medical expenses.
Odunsi made this known in a new video released online, confirming that his son has reached out to him following a recent public fallout between them.
The ailing Odunsi had in a viral video accused Asake of abandoning him since his health started deteriorating in 2022, alleging that despite the singer’s fame and fortune, he had not been financially supportive.
However, in a swift reaction, the “Lonely at the Top” crooner flayed the accusation with a cryptic message on social media, singing in Yoruba.
He said: “You can’t please everyone, you can’t please the world. But anything you are doing, just do it for God.
“My own father wants to cajole me, and I have sent so much money to him. I have struggled for so many years, but they want to make life tire me.”
The recrimination, however, generated a buzz on social media, with many fans and netizens expressing sympathy with the father, while others took sides with the artiste.
As the intrigues continued between the father and son, their extended family members intervened and called on Asake to come to his father’s rescue by purchasing a house for him and also providing medical support.
However, in video released on Sunday night, Odunsi revealed that his son has reached out and promised to support him.
According to him, Asake has committed to purchasing a new house for him and covering his medical expenses.
Speaking in Yoruba, Odunsi expressed pride in Asake and showered him with prayers, adding that he called out Asake because it had been a long time since he saw him.
He further revealed that Asake has instructed real estate agents to find him a new home.
He said: “His mother ought to ask him when last he saw me. That was what got me angry, but we have sorted all the problems.
“We are no longer fighting. Asake said he will do everything that I want.We have settled, no more problems.
“They are now looking for a new house that he will buy for me. He has settled everything.”
Odunsi also confirmed that the artiste has agreed to take full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.
“He has never denied his child, but he has now promised to take full responsibility for the child.”
He also mentioned that he would be going to the hospital the next day, as Asake had sent him all the necessary funds for his treatment.
