Nigerian comedian and actor, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth has taken a swipe against former Governors of Abia State from 1999 till 2023 when the current Governor, Alex Otti took over as the Governor of the state.

Basketmouth queried what they, Senator Orji Uzor-Kalu, Senator Theodore Orji and Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu did as Governors of the state going by the performance of Alex Otti in less than one year as Governor.

He went further to say that those who governed Abia State between 1999 and 2023 were not even worthy to be Local Government Chairmen, talk-more, Governors of a state.

Bright wrote this on his Social Media handle where he wrote, “I wonder how ALL Former Governors of Abia State are feeling right now seeing Dr. Otti’s current performance. His performance is so disrespectful, It’s suggesting that the former Governors were not even Local Government Chairmen level. Can someone pls check on them to see if they are ok, They must not take it”. End of quote.
