The Defence Headquarters has dismissed reports circulating on social media claiming that notorious terrorist leader Bello Turji has been arrested by troops of Operation Fasan Yamma in the North West.
Major General Edward Buba, Director of Defence Media Operations, urged the public to disregard the trending news, labeling it as “fake news.”
“All news regarding the arrest of Bello Turji by troops should be treated as fake news,” Major when General Buba stated, setting the record straight.
