Akwa Ibom State Government remained mum, yesterday, over the reported death of Mrs. Blessing Adewunmi, daughter of the state’s Deputy Governor, Dr. Akon Eyakenyi.

Vanguard, however, gathered that Mrs. Adewunmi, who got married last year allegedly died during childbearing in a Port Harcourt, Rivers State hospital.
The state government and her family were yet to offer official statement even as the sad incident dominates discussions in the state with condolences flying round on social media.
