Nigerian music sensation Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake, is under heavy hammer over allegations from his father, Fatai Odunsi, and a woman identified as Adijat, who claims to be his former partner.

While Odunsi alleges that Asake promised to buy him a house, Adijat accuses the singer of neglecting their supposed 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.

In a recent interview, Fatai Odunsi expressed his expectation that Asake would fulfill his promise of securing a house for him.

Odunsi, who is reportedly battling health issues, including a stroke, stated, “Asake is ready to buy me a house.” His family members are reportedly urging Asake to assist with his father’s medical needs and honor his commitment to providing accommodation.

Simultaneously, Adijat has made allegations that Asake has been absent from their daughter’s life. According to her, she financially supported the singer during his struggling years, sending him money from her thrift savings while he was still in school.

She also mentioned that Odunsi was supportive of her efforts at the time, often encouraging her to seek help whenever necessary.

However, Adijat claims that after Asake completed his education and moved to Lekki, he cut off communication. She alleges he ignored her calls and even suggested she was free to marry someone else since he was too focused on his career.

“He sent me messages saying he would block me. He told me I was free to marry someone else, as he had no time for a relationship,” Adijat recounted.

These revelations have sparked conversations online, with fans and critics expressing shock and disappointment. Many have called on Asake to address the allegations publicly, particularly regarding his alleged negligence towards his daughter and the promise made to his father.

As of now, Asake has not made any public statement concerning the allegations. The controversy continues to stir discussions about the responsibilities of celebrities towards their families and the potential strain fame can place on personal relationships.

Nigerian singer Mr Real has sparked controversy after rejecting economic advice recently offered by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, declaring that he would rather “join banditry” than take up the small-scale businesses she suggested.

The “Legbegbe” crooner made the remark while reacting to comments by the First Lady, who encouraged low-income Nigerians to embrace small businesses as a means of achieving financial independence amid the country’s economic challenges.

Speaking at an event last Thursday, Mrs. Tinubu advised Nigerians with limited financial resources to consider ventures such as frying akara (bean cakes), roasting corn, or producing kuli-kuli (groundnut snacks). According to her, these businesses require relatively low start-up capital and can provide a sustainable source of income.

However, Mr Real dismissed the suggestion, arguing that petty trading is not a practical solution to the economic hardship many Nigerians are currently facing. In a reaction that quickly gained attention on social media, the singer said he would rather turn to banditry than engage in the businesses recommended by the First Lady.

His comment has since generated mixed reactions online. While some social media users criticized the statement as reckless and inappropriate, others viewed it as an expression of frustration over the country’s worsening economic conditions rather than a literal endorsement of criminal activity.
