US Deports World’s Most Followed TikToker Khaby Lame For Alleged Illegal Migration

The US Government, under the leadership of Donald Trump, has deported Khaby Lame, the world’s most followed TikTok creator, over alleged illegal migration.

The New York Times reports that Lame was detained by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last Friday in Las Vegas and subsequently deported from the United States over allegations of overstaying his visa.

Lame, a 25-year-old Italian-Senegalese influencer with over 160 million followers on TikTok, was reportedly picked up by ICE operatives at Harry Reid International Airport.

The agency confirmed the detention in an official statement, stating that Lame entered the country on April 30 but “overstayed the terms of his visa.”

The TikToker was granted a voluntary departure order on Friday and has since exited the U.S.

His deportation from the country has ignited uproar online, not just over his visa status but because a young Trump-aligned influencer is claiming responsibility for tipping off authorities.

“Every single illegal alien needs to be DEPORTED. When I found out the biggest TikTok star, Khaby Lame, is an illegal alien evading taxes, I worked with Trump’s ICE to have him removed. He’s since been detained by ICE and removed,” Bo Loudon, a Gen Z Trump supporter and self-styled activist, wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Loudon, a teenager whose Instagram is plastered with smiling photos alongside former President Donald Trump, his son Barron, and various members of the MAGA inner circle, said he made a few calls to the top after hearing from friends about Lame’s alleged undocumented presence.

“I just called some buddies in the administration,” Loudon said in an interview with online streamer Dylan Page. “And I’ve never seen anything happen so quick.”

Loudon further accused Lame of being politically hostile to the Trump movement. However, there is no public record of Lame making overt political statements, nor has he commented on Trump or U.S. politics.

Lame, who rose to fame by mocking overly complex “life hack” videos with silent, comic reaction clips, had built a lucrative career on his expressive face and deadpan gestures.

His meteoric rise led to partnerships with major fashion labels, a cameo in a Hollywood film, and a U.S.-based reality TV show titled “Khaby Is Coming To America” on Tubi.

Despite the mounting controversy, Lame has not released any public statement on his deportation.

He did not respond to multiple media inquiries, but on Monday, he posted an Instagram story from São Paulo, Brazil, his first verified location after leaving the U.S.

The New York Times added that Lame’s former legal representative, Riccardo Lanzo, said Lame had spent considerable time in the United States in recent months, though he admitted he was “unsure about his visa situation.”

ICE’s enforcement against Lame comes amid a broader immigration crackdown under President Trump’s renewed term in office.

The agency has seen a spike in arrests and removals, with some actions now bleeding into the high-profile worlds of influencers and celebrities.

The New York Times reached out to Loudon for comment, but he declined the request, instead referring the publication to his interview with Dylan Page.

Controversial Nigerian street-pop singer Portable has narrowly escaped a serious road accident just hours before the naming ceremony of his newborn son.

The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday night in Ogun State while the singer was making preparations for the family celebration.

According to Portable, the accident happened after the brakes of his vehicle suddenly failed while he was driving. In an attempt to avoid crashing into another vehicle on the road, the singer said he deliberately swerved his car into a ditch.

The artiste later shared videos from the scene on his Instagram story, thanking God for surviving the accident without sustaining injuries.

“My fans, join me to appreciate God. I was just driving out this evening when the accident happened,” the singer said in the viral video.

“Nothing do me oo, I came out unhurt. I suddenly realized that the car had failed brake. My people have arrived here. I thank God they are not here to carry my corpse,” he added.

Portable also revealed that he had already made elaborate preparations for his son’s naming ceremony before the unfortunate incident occurred.

“I’ve already bought two cows for my son’s naming ceremony. Thank God that the accident didn’t happen when trailer was passing on the road,” he said.

The singer’s survival has since sparked reactions from fans and followers across social media, with many expressing relief that the accident did not result in tragedy.

The naming ceremony comes shortly after Portable and his wife, Bewaji, welcomed their newborn baby.

The singer had earlier distributed free Ankara aso-ebi materials to friends and supporters in celebration of the occasion.

The birth of the child reportedly took place while Portable was involved in his celebrity boxing showdown with Carter Efe on Friday, May 1, 2026.
