Popular actor, Joe Marinelli known for his roles in The Morning Show and several other television series, has died.
He passed away last Sunday at the age of 68 after a prolonged battle with throat and stomach cancer.
His wife of nearly 34 years, musician Jean Marinelli, confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that he passed away on Sunday at their home in Burbank, California, following a battle with stomach cancer. She added that the couple never fought during their long marriage.
Born on January 21, 1957, in Meriden, Connecticut, Marinelli moved to Southern California as a child.
He honed his craft at Loyola Marymount University and later at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art before launching his acting career in the 1980s.
Initially working as a carpenter while performing in local theater, he soon broke into television with guest roles on series like Cagney & Lacey, Hill Street Blues, and L.A. Law.
Marinelli gained a following due to his role as Bunny Tagliatti on Santa Barbara (1988–1990), which earned him a Soap Opera Digest Award.

Nigerian singer, Flavour has revealed why it is difficult for him to commit to one woman.
Speaking in a video broadcast, the ‘Nabania’ crooner said he belongs to “the wild world” and not to a single woman.
The music star explained that unlike some men who are “domesticated”, he can’t be “caged.”
He said, “I am an explorer. I belong to the wild world. I belong to the street. Some men are domesticated but I am not. We belong to the wild world. I cannot be caged.”
Flavour has three children from two different women, both of whom are former beauty queens.

2026 Guber: I Will Be There To Defend Our Votes – Davido Assures Adeleke
Afrobeats star Davido has stated that he will personally work to prevent electoral manipulation during the Osun State governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.
In a post on his Instagram story, the singer addressed attempts to tamper with votes and stated he would be present on election day to protect the process.
He also expressed support for his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is seeking a second term under the Accord Party.
“On August 15, anybody who tries to rig go collect in the highest order. I will be in the field to defend our votes. Keke must ke if need be!!! @aadeleke_01, at your back, sir!” he wrote.
Davido shared a clip of former resident electoral commissioner Nnenna Otti discussing electoral fraud and linked his comments to that footage.
