In his inaugural speech Engr Adidi hailed members of the body noting that:
“I must not forget to mention the Immediate Past President who had deemed it to carry out this election electronically.
“At first, members were skeptical about it but with time it was generally accepted. I say Kudos to you all that took part in this process.
” I also want to plead with you that the strength of any given association lies within all members not a man of my own that was today voted as the elected President of IGSOSA but it is a collective responsibility. As I have said in my acceptance speech, infrastructural development and Mentoring will be our major agenda all things being equal.
“My memories of my days in school as the Senior Prefect in 1983, still echo in my mind on what I was unable to do and what to do when I become a man of my own.
“Today that memory has come to play as I am now the President of IGSOSA. The race to achieve all these is now and to give back to our Alma mata is a priority.I am not going to take your time but to lean on you, to say that, “No contribution or Levy is too small in this journey.
” Whatever God lays in your heart will go a long way in the growth and development of Iluelogbo Grammar School which will also positively affect the Community.
” I know together, this journey is possible! Conclusion, I want to say a big thank you to all the Elders, my Seniors, IGSOSA electoral committee and all others who were able to grace this occasion and in seeing this process come true.
“May God in His infinite mercy grant us the wisdom to provide solutions to all intractable problems beclouding IGSOSA. While His grace will grant you all journey mercies back to your various homes in the mightiest name of Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!
