Football icon, Christiano Ronaldo has officially proposed to his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, marking the next chapter in a love story that has spanned nearly a decade.
Ronaldo’s decision to propose to Rodríguez, 30, came after the footballer and his fiancee first crossed paths back in 2016 at a Gucci store, where she was working as a sales assistant. What started as a chance meeting quickly turned into what they both describe as “love at first sight.” Just months later, they stepped out together for the first time at The Best FIFA Football Awards in January 2017.
Since then, Rodríguez, a Spanish model and influencer has been a constant presence by Ronaldo’s side, from his Manchester United days to Real Madrid, Juventus, and now Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. 
The couple share four children. Three via surrogacy and one biological daughter and have weathered the highs and lows of Ronaldo’s glittering career together.
