The residents asked the two ladies who led the team consisting of uniformed and plain clothes wearing men to show them the eviction notice but they were snubbed.

They equally appealed for a two- hour grace to enable them move out their belongings, this also fell on deaf ears.

An occupant, a lawyer by profession, a relative of a former SGF from the North East who works with the ECOWAS, apparently embittered told the enforcers “this thing you are doing will bring international disgrace to Nigeria.

“You cannot even show us the court eviction notice, is this a country.

A further probe by naijablitznews showed that the house was initially owned by a popular former Senator from the South East who sold it to another former Senator.

The new owner asked the enforcers to make sure the occupants were forcefully evacuated.

Some onlookers said “if Wike hear dis kind talk say dem no get eviction notice come de force pipu like dis e go show dis pipu pepper.
