Finally, all affiliates of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, have called off a strike scheduled to hold today in the Territory.

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the Secretary General of TUC, Comrade NA Toro and NLC Acting General Secretary, Comrade Benson Upah asking workers to resume duties immediately after a meeting was held with the FCT minister Nyesom Wike last night.
JUAC members are expected to obey this directive without delay.
