A group under the aegis of Edo Youth Renaissance, EYR has advised Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to stop running from pillar to post as the Edo South Senatorial District ticket has been rested for Hon Omorgie Ogbeide Ihama a popular grassroots mobiliser.
The group in a statement signed by its Coordinator Igbinovia Osadolor on Wednesday declared that the Edo South Senatorial District race rests squarely on four cardinal principles which Ogbeide-Ihama has adequately satisfied.
“Those four cardinal principles are Experience, Electability, youthfulness and antecedents. 
“We challenge Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to produce his credentials based on the above then maybe there will be a rethink but for now with available insights with us Pastor Ize-Iyamu virtually lack all the above.
On the other hand, Ogbeide-Ihama in terms of experience has been a two term federal lawmaker championing the affairs of the Tourism and Culture committee back to back for two terms indicating his dexterity in legislative business.
He was also one of the most vibrant lawmakers from the South South geo-political zone within this same time space.
Electability, he has won elections repeatedly without going to the courts to grab verdicts meaning he is a grassroots politician to the core.
Youthfulness, this Ogbeide-Ihama has more than enough and his leadership qualities have been on high visibility in the last 15 years of his political career.
He has remained a pillar of strength and support to Edo youths both at home and in the diaspora.
Antecedents, this cardinal principle too is within the grasp of Hon Ogbeide-Ihama who had been deeply involved in legislative business in the House of Representatives.

Oredo House of Representatives 2019 – Won.

In 2015, he won election from Opposition in the most prominent LGA – Oredo with a margin of over 12,000 votes.
In 2019, he won again from Opposition.
First Representative in the history of Oredo to serve 2 terms hence he became the JINX-BREAKER.
None of his victories have ever been challenged judicially. Opponents accept he won fair and square.
