Nollywood actor Yul Edochie’s ex wife, May Yul Edochie has sent comforting message to the families of those who lost their lives in the river including Pope Odonwodo known as Junior Pope.

Recall that Junior Pope’s death came as a rude shock to Nigerians when reports emerged that the actor drowned while filming with producer,Adanma Luke.

On Instagram, May Edochie spoke about the pains of loosing a dear while praying for strength for the bereaved families.

May prayed that helpers will locate the bereaved to help them go through the dark time and speed up their healing process.

Having been through the pains of loosing her first son, the now mother of three said some pains can never away because they are unforgettable.

May Yul Edochie shares on Instagram, “Some pains can never go away…. they are simply unforgettable. The only option is to find a way to live it them because we have to keep existing which is an extremely difficult thing to do.

Dear Lord, pls grant eternal rest unto the souls of the JP, the other tragic victims, and all the faithful departed.

Dear Lord, pls be with their families and grant them the fortitude to go through these dark times and speed up their healing process.

Dear Lord, pls make helpers cross their paths to help them embrace the process of reintegration and rehabilitation.

Dear Lord, pls avert any form of affliction projected towards us in Jesus name.

Dear Lord, I reject and cancel every negative prophecy about me and my family and for those who believe in you in Jesus name.”

Recalls that the duo have been in the news over their lingering feud.

However, Basketmouth, in an Instagram post on Wednesday, shared a light-hearted video of their recent interaction.

The video, which signifies a major reconciliation between the comedians, captured the moment Basketmouth sought advice from AY following his discussion with actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, RMD.

Mohbad: Father wanted fast burial after obtaining Davido N2m- PA

Adeyemo Boluwatife, the Personal Assistant to the late Mohbad has stated that the late Singer’s Father, Joseph Aloba demanded for immediate burial of his son after receiving N2 million from Davido. Adeyemo said this while testifying at the Coroner’s Inquest in Ikorodu on Wednesday.

The Coroner’s Inquest which began on September 29, 2023, was set up by the Lagos State Government to unravel the cause of Mohbad’s death.

Mohbad died on September 12 2023, under questionable circumstances, and was hurriedly buried the following day.

Following the calls for justice across the nation, his body was exhumed on September 21, 2023, for an autopsy by the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH.

However, during the court sitting on Wednesday, Adeyemo, who is also Mohbad’s nephew, told the Ikorodu Magistrate Court that Mohbad’s father insisted on burying him immediately, after receiving N2 million from Davido.

Adeyemo also claimed that he transferred N1 million to Mr Aloba, and later gave the remaining amount to Adura, Mohbad’s younger brother, after settling the hospital bills and ambulance rental fees. He further revealed that, Investigators took custody of the deceased’s phone after his death.
