Death of Ifeanyi Ubah, sudden, shocking, deminshing, says Senator Araraume
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress [APC] from Imo State, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, has expressed shock at the sudden death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represented Anambra South in the Senate until his paasing, describing it as diminishing and an irreplaceable.
Araraume said Ubah’s death had also deprived the nation of one of its patriotic citizens who contributed his quota to the building of a united and prosperous Nigeria.
He recalled Ubah’s contribution to the nation’s economic growth through his many business investments as well as his involvement in governance through his legislative interventions.
“Ifeanyi Ubah played his part to the best of his ability towards actualising the Nigeria Project. He was a Nigerian patriot and proud son of Igboland.
“President Bola Tinubu has lost a pillar of support in the Senate with Ubah’s sudden transition to the great beyond. I sympathise with him.
“The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has lost a dedicated member. I commiserate with the Senate President and Senators.
“For me, I will sorely miss a younger brother who served God, country and humanity with commitment.
“I commiserate with members of his family, friends, business and political associates, his constituents in Anambra south as well as the Anambra State Government on Ifeanyi Ubah’s passing.
“May the Almighty God avail all of us who mourn him the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss, and grant our late friend, brother, husband and father eternal repose in His Bosom,” Araraume said.
