VIDEO! No election took place in HoR minority leader’s ward 5 Obio/Akpor as constituents respect Fed High Court verdict

No election took place in Obio/Akpor Ward 5 in Rivers State in the stage managed Local Government polls of last Saturday.

Recall that there was a Federal High Court Abuja judgement restricting the Governor of Rivers State not conduct any LG election on October 5.

Despite this verdict, the Governor went ahead to conduct the election with empty wards and units.

RSIEC still declared APP winner of the stage managed election.

As captured in this video, Ward 5 is the House of Representatives Minority Caucus Leader, Rep Kingsley Chinda’s Ward.

The video clearly depicts ghost like units and even the Collation Centre looked like an abandoned house in broad daylight.

Condemnations had trailed this ugly development as many credible CSOs had declared that the entire electoral process lacked credibility.

The People’s Advocate, an amalgam of CSOs in its report describes charade as weak and not credible.
