Nigerian singer and songwriter, Inetimi Alfred Odom popularly known as Timaya, said he has been an original right from time and does not have anything to hide.

The singer in a chat with Channels Television said what people say about him doesn’t itch him as he sees people’s thoughts about him like ‘fried eggs and bread’.

“How somebody sees me doesn’t bother me. I’ve gone past those things. What you think or how you think are like fried eggs and bread,” he said.

Timaya, reflecting on his journey thus far, noted that the only thing that has changed about him is the money he has now. Looking at how far he has evolved from a plantain seller to a notable voice in the music industry, the singer says he looks better than where he is coming from.

“I’m not doing anything bad. I’m original. I’ve been like this all my life. The only thing I know that people can say is that I’m a very blunt guy, I speak my mind and I’m not afraid of anybody… I’m not a fraudster, I don’t have anything to hide,” he said.

“It is very difficult when you are trying to live a life that you are not. The only thing that has changed is the money that I have now. From a plantain boy, now I look better not like I was that bad but I was bad.”

He also talked about his ninth album, Gladiator, and the events that inspired the album’s name.

Big Brother Naija Season 9 winner Kellyrae has expressed his frustration over the barrage of financial assistance requests from family and friends following his public disclosure of a huge gift to his wife, Kassia.

Since announcing that he gifted Kassia N55 million from his N60 million prize money, Kellyrae revealed in an interview with media personality Hero Daniels that he has been inundated with requests from acquaintances seeking a share of his winnings.

“I was receiving calls from people close to us after I said I gave Kassia N55 million, and they were asking for their own share of my prize money,” he lamented.

In his plea for understanding, Kellyrae stressed that he is not as financially secure as some might assume.

“I would like to say to everyone, I’m not a rich man yet, please. The money is big, but things are expensive. Even if it’s egg I want to buy, how many crates of eggs will I buy? Please allow a brother to settle.”

Kellyrae, who also walked away with a brand new car valued at N40 million, urged his supporters to give him time to manage his finances responsibly.

Controversial lifestyle influencer, Idris Okuneye popularly known as ‘’Bobrisky’ has been reportedly arrested at the Seme Border.

Information released revealed that he was arrested while attempting to flee Nigeria for Benin Republic.

The revelation was made by popular critic, Verydarkman, who claimed Bobrisky was apprehended by Nigerian immigration officers while trying to escape the ongoing investigation by the House of Representatives.

In a post shared on Instagram, Verydarkman wrote, “Bobrisky has been Arrested this morning at the seme border while trying to enter BENIN REPUBLIC to escape the current investigation by the house of representativce, he is allegedly being held be the Nigeria immigration…MAKE WE WAIT FOR BOB TO DEBUNK Cho Cho Cho.”

The influencer had been invited to answer questions regarding viral leaked audio recordings in which she or he allegedly admitted to bribing officials to avoid imprisonment, with the help of a powerful godfather.

The recordings also implicated Bobrisky in a money laundering case that was allegedly dropped by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
