Ex-House of Representatives spokesperson, Hon Zakari Mohammed has formally formally pulled out from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Mohammed was spokesperson of the HoR in the Seventh House of Representatives from 2011-2015.
In a resignation letter dated 10th of April, 2025 and addressed to the Ward Chairman of Gwure/Gwasoro Ward, Baruten LGA of Kwara state.
In the letter he simply stated that he is quitting the party to advance his political career in another platform.
He represented Baruten/Kaiama Federal Constituency between 2011-2019.
Mohammed was also chairman HoR committee on Basic Education in the 8th HoR.
