A US-based Nigerian woman, Princess Ada, has advised women to not let themselves be bullied into marrying poor men.
The mother of two stated this on Sunday while reacting to the criticisms over her previous post advising ladies to focus on marrying rich men.
“I heard they are dr@gging me for this post! My ladies, this 2025 don’t let anyone b00ley you into marrying p00r man o, they wii not suffer p0verty with you,” she wrote.
“If you are very young and looking to marry a man in his 20s, even if he is not r!ch yet, make sure he is ambitious and desire to be r!ch someday. Not dreamer o!!! Ambitious as in you can see him working hard towards it not just talking cos those ones that are always talking about making it without doing the work, they may be fr@dusters or future fr@udsters.
“If you are my age or looking to marry men in their 30s and 40s and up, my dear make sure you see signs of success & wealth and confirm that he has the mindset to provide for you and take care of you financially as his wife before you marry any man.
“ Life is hard, Marriage is hard and m0ney is needed to enjoy this life. Yes of course make your own money, but make it you goal to marry a man that will make money for you too. Let she who have ears hear.”

My ex-husband always wanted threesome – US-based Nurse Sugar alleges
Nigerian-American registered nurse Bukola Akinpelu, popularly known as Nurse Sugar, has alleged that her former husband persistently requested threesomes during their intimate moments.
The nurse stated this during an interview with Ifedayo Agoro, where she spoke about some of the challenges she experienced in the relationship.
“I would say if we got intimate 10 times, he would ask 9.5 times,” she said.
Nurse Sugar said she often agreed to the requests, explaining that saying no would only prolong the discussion.
“I would say yes every time that he asked. But because there was no means. Because if I didn’t say yes, it would keep going,” she said.
Nurse Sugar added that her former husband’s requests typically came up during intimate encounters rather than being discussed separately as an issue within their relationship.
Beyond the alleged repeated requests, she described her traditional wedding as the most humiliating experience she endured during the marriage.
“Of every day that I’ve been humiliated in the relationship, my traditional wedding day, nothing tops it,” she said.
Nurse Sugar further disclosed that some vendors who attended the ceremony later reached out to her, saying they had witnessed the incident.
The nurse also addressed an altercation with her former husband, admitting that she once held him by his shirt during a confrontation but maintained that she did not hit him.
She claimed her ex-husband frequently insulted her parents, adding that she began responding by insulting his family whenever he spoke negatively about hers.
“So if you say, ‘This and this is your mom,’ I’ll say, ‘This and this is your mom as well,’” she said.

‘I regret sleeping with you’: Married man, ‘feminist’s messy affair goes viral
An alleged affair between a gym instructor, Dennis Emmanuel, and a social media feminist, Folakemi Martins, has turned into a messy public dispute, with the two dragging each other online over allegations surrounding their failed relationship.
The controversy started when Emmanuel, who claimed to be married, accused Martins, in a lengthy post on X (formerly Twitter), of harassment, stalking and attempts to damage his reputation and marriage.
Emmanuel, who admitted to having a sexual relationship with Martins, also accused her of refusing to let go after he decided to end their affair.
According to him, his relationship with Martins began on May 9, 2026, after he told her that he was married and was looking for a “side chic.”
Emmanuel, who shared several screenshots of alleged conversations between him and Martins, claimed that she knew about his marriage and agreed to the arrangement.
He said the trouble began when Martins allegedly became persistent, demanding and disrespectful, accusing her of stalking him and his wife, and wanting something more than their casual sexual relationship.
In one of the screenshots posted by Emmanuel, Martins reportedly said, “Why is it that you went off when I was asking for your hand in marriage?”
The screenshots also showed that Martins allegedly made repeated demands for sex, with some of the exchanges showing her asking when they would meet again.
“My estrogen is going crazy that I’m pulsating. It is ovulation day. Are we ‘doing’ if we meet tomorrow? I’m so horny, I can’t sleep.
“Asides that, when can I get one for the road, please? I’m talking of a genital meet and greet. And I’m not coming over, maybe e go be for my side or hotel, anyhow you wan do am,” Martins reportedly said in some of the chats.
In another chat, Martins also allegedly asked Emmanuel to send her pictures of his private part.
Martins, in some of the chats, accused Emmanuel of neglecting her and complained about his lack of affection towards her.
She reportedly wrote, “You have made it clear severally that you want nothing to do with me, but I’m the one that refused to listen, hoping for the best.
“I have to beg for intimacy, beg to get video call, beg for clarity, beg to meet you, beg for ordinary goodnight and affection.”
However, Emmanuel said he broke off the affair and told Martins that they would not be seeing each other again because of what he described as her “aggressive” and “condescending” behaviour.
But the decision, he alleged, did not end the matter, disclosing that Martins continued contacting him.
He alleged that Martins, together with her friends, kept stalking him and his wife on social media.
“Fola (Martins) is at my place now with stranger men banging my doors heavily. I don’t know who they are and I won’t open the door!” Emmanuel wrote.
He said he was forced to bring the issue on X, saying, “What happened over the past few weeks has gone beyond a personal disagreement. It is now affecting my reputation, my home, my wife and my family and I believe I need to put my side of the story on record.”
But, reacting, Martins faulted Emmanuel’s account, saying she never agreed to be his “side chick” and was not aware that he was married when their relationship began.
Speaking with Saturday PUNCH, Martins said she was currently gathering evidence and pursuing the matter through legal channels, adding that she would provide further details when permitted by the court.
“I’m currently working on enough proof and doing everything legally. I know everyone has been trying to get my side, but little proof has been out on X.
“I never agreed to be a side chick and was never aware of any marriage,” she said.
However, Martins declined to speak further on the controversy surrounding her relationship with Emmanuel, saying, “Any other information on my side of the whole story will be given once the court allows.”
Meanwhile, many users on X have reacted to the controversy, with several blaming Emmanuel for engaging in an extra-marital affair and questioning his decision to make the dispute public.
A user, @AtuanyaKene, wrote: “Unfortunately, I have no sympathy for cheaters like you and you deserve everything you’re seeing now because if it didn’t happen, you’d be waving your kini around and disgracing your wife and family in secret without telling us about it. The only sympathy I have is for the person you betrayed. I hope you keep jamming crazy people like her the next time you decide to cheat.”
Another user, Adeleke Bolanle, said, “The moment you had sex with her, you’ve given her the licence to attack your wife and interfere with your family. You’ve made a big mistake and I hope you learn from it.”
@Omoluabi_AB wrote: “Bros, na jeje she sit down, na you go meet her. Some people dey cheat and leave, and it will end like that; it doesn’t mean it will always be like that for everyone. Your own no be like am so deal with am yourself, married man ffs testing rizz.”
Another user, @Orev_a, questioned Emmanuel’s decision to cheat despite being married, writing, “I still genuinely don’t understand some of you men. Even if you’ve decided to cheat, how do you look at your precious wife and still choose to embarrass her with a Twitter girl?”
The user added that Emmanuel’s actions could expose his wife to further embarrassment and hurt, arguing that “a man who can do this clearly hasn’t learned anything.”

Microchimerism, Sex and ‘Imprinting’: What Science Says About Having Multiple Partners
A commentary making sweeping claims about the long-term effects of multiple sexual partners on women has triggered debate over where science ends and speculation begins.
The commentary argues that sexual intercourse is more than a physical act, claiming that women may retain biological, emotional and even spiritual “imprints” from previous partners.
At the centre of the argument is microchimerism, a real biological phenomenon involving the presence of genetically distinct cells in an individual. The commentary, however, extends the concept to suggest that male DNA from sexual partners can remain in a woman’s bloodstream and brain and subsequently influence her mood, attraction, behaviour and emotional responses.
It further claims that having 10 sexual partners could leave a woman carrying traces of each man and make future emotional attachment more difficult.
The commentary also links repeated sexual relationships to oxytocin, commonly associated with bonding and social interaction, arguing that repeated bonding with different partners could weaken a woman’s ability to form a lasting attachment.
Beyond biology, the claim takes a moral and spiritual turn, suggesting that sexual relationships can transfer energy, behavioural patterns and spiritual influences between partners.
It concludes that repeated casual sexual relationships may affect a person’s expectations, boundaries and approach to intimacy, with previous partners allegedly shaping how the individual approaches subsequent relationships.
However, the strongest versions of these claims remain scientifically unproven. The existence of microchimerism does not establish that sexual partners permanently transmit their DNA in a way that changes a woman’s personality or makes her less capable of love or commitment.
Similarly, having multiple previous partners cannot, by itself, establish that someone has a particular character, emotional capacity or relationship behaviour.
The controversy therefore highlights a broader issue: real scientific terms can be used to give credibility to conclusions that research has not actually established.
