Officers of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have rearrested Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, shortly after her release from the Suleja Correctional Centre.
The rearrest comes a few hours after Nollywood actor, Stanley Ontop, raised the alarm over an alleged plan to rearrest Angela after her release from prison.
In a video shared on Instagram, actress Doris Ogala said Angela was immediately rearrested on Tuesday for allegedly refusing to pay the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) who secured her bail from Suleja prison.
Doris, who said she is already on her way to the police station, said, “You see, one thing is for someone to cut their clothes according to their size. Angela has been arrested again. As a matter of fact, I’m going to the police station now. You see, when Angela was arrested by Mercy, she called a friend of her or village person. I don’t know how they relate. To help her get a SAN.
“And the SAN charged them N5 million. I think the SAN was the one who even facilitated the bail and all that. Now when Angela knew that they have granted her bail according to the lady, Angela started saying that she didn’t ask her to get a SAN and she wasn’t going to pay the money, and meanwhile this lady has deposited.”
Recall that on January 26, Angela was arrested in Lagos and flown to Abuja, where she was arraigned before the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Cyberstalking and Cyberb$llying charges.
The actress was charged following a petition written against her by her colleague, Mercy Johnson Okojie.

Peller Announces White Wedding Date, Restricts Attendance
Popular TikTok streamer, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has announced attendance rules for his white wedding with his wife, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, saying bloggers and excessive camera coverage will not be allowed at the ceremony scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026.
Speaking in a video shared on social media on Sunday, August 2, 2026, Peller said he wants a more private atmosphere for the church wedding after his experience at the traditional ceremony.
According to him, there were more bloggers than invited guests at the traditional wedding, with some people allegedly buying aso-ebi just to gain access to the event and record videos.
“My white wedding is on August 8. I don’t know who brought those bloggers to my wedding. I don’t know how bloggers will be more than the guests. Some people bought aso-ebi just to come and record us. I want only 80 to 100 people at my white wedding,” he said.
Peller said the white wedding would be an intimate event with only 80 to 100 guests.
He also claimed that some people who attended the traditional wedding appeared to be more interested in creating content than celebrating with them.
Despite his concerns about the crowd and media presence, Peller said the traditional wedding was successful.
“Anyway, the traditional wedding was a success,” he said.

Cynthia Morgan Calls Out Jude Okoye Amid Brothers’ Feud
Nigerian artist Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan, popularly known as Cynthia Morgan, has called out her former record label boss, Jude Okoye, describing herself as a living witness to what he is capable of.
The dancehall and rap artist, while speaking up via her Instagram page, fueled the heat between the Okoye brothers, claiming that Jude has the power to make the truth disappear.
Morgan also claimed she is a living witness to some of the things Jude Okoye is being accused of by Peter.
”If there is one thing I know about judeengees. I know for a fact that he can make the truth disappear either in front or behind the cameras. I am a living witness of his. So our only hope of getting the truth this time is the judiciary.
“So help them God wickedness. But the difference this time is he came with chats and emails. You see how he quickly said Peter is crashing out because he is going down. That is how toxic and divisive he is. In a real sense, even if I don’t listen to secular music anymore, I saw Peter trending with his new song recently. Jude is not a good human being,” she stated

BBNaija 11: Ebuka knocks housemates over lack of energy
Big Brother Naija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has criticised the Season 11 housemates for their lack of energy and initiative during their first week on the reality show.
Ebuka delivered the assessment during Sunday night’s live show, saying many of the contestants appeared to be waiting for events to unfold instead of creating memorable moments.
He said he initially believed the housemates were still adjusting to their new environment but became concerned after watching their preparations for the wager task.
“Too many of you were just not there. I thought it was just day two and you all were trying to acclimatise,” he said.
“Then the wager task happened, but the build-up to it was lackadaisical, especially from the ladies. I did not want to think too much of it.”
Ebuka said the pool party also failed to produce the level of excitement expected from the contestants.
“But then, I watched the pool party. It was more like I did not watch it because I went to bed at some point. It was not just it,” he said.
The host urged the housemates to become more proactive and take greater control of their experience in the house.
“I have been trying to find the word to describe the week, and I think the right word to use is that there are so many of you waiting for things to happen, and not many of you are making things happen,” he added.
His remarks served as a wake-up call to the contestants as the reality show entered its second week.
